About eBay mystery auctions. If the seller puts this disclaimer in his auction is he 100% protected from any lawsuits or anything against him.

"You are bidding on a box and only the box. Anything inside is a gift from me to you."

and then guarantees there will certain items like a certain amount of cash and xbox and jewelry inside the mystery box, but when I receive the box nothing is inside. He promised me that certain things will be inside, but nothing. I want to know can I still sue him even though he placed the disclaimer in his auction. Serious answers only.

Did you think you'd have a better shot with boxes than you did with the envelopes?

Do you have a link to the auction? I need some good email addresses to send to my buddy in Nigeria.

How much did you pay for each box (or envelope)?
