Elder abuse and inheritance

I will call a elder abuse/ Trust attorney. The visiting nurse is who called A.P.S. no one told us to call police. The grandson is the trustee, the only thing in the trust is the old house which would go to him. That is why I was wondering if some one could still inherit after elder abuse if they were the sole hier?

This happened 6mos. the locking up of my Dad, leaving him with no phones, Meds, food,ect. My Dad had terminal cancer, he died two months later.Then the grandson was arrest by a SWAT with dogs from a attic on drug charges. The grandson will be getting out in 3months. That is why I was worried if the grandson could still inherit after abusing my father?

Thank you, I called a attorney that deals in elder abuse and Trusts, the appointment is for next tuesday. Will post to what he has to say.
