I would like to know if emails are accepted in court as proof?
The reason being that one of our secretaries resigned. We have her letter. Five days later, she tried to withdraw her resignation. We said No. We accepted your resignation. She left the same day crying and did not even complete her 2 weeks notice.
Anyway, one of our officers trying to be nice to her, wrote her an email saying that he was sorry but considering the circomstances and the economy, he had to let her go ...
Meaning, that she asked for too much money to stay. And let her go not as a "lay off", but let her go to her other job ...
Now she is acting really crazy. I use to love her, but she said she is going to fight us in court and proove that she was laid off as per the email, therefore she can get unemployment benefits.
Please help!
Thanks
