Thank you all for the help. I appreciate it.

Problem is ... her attorney never mentioned the importance of this visit to the doctor. Never did they showed worry that case will be lost if she does not go. It's as if they didn't care.

Good leston to us though.
We told the lawyer that we might consult with another attorney but they said that we need to give them our answer by tomorrow evening (24 hours)
So...what is the answer going to be when they call this evening?

Curious as to the outcome!

i have injuries

from a rear end collision. they are somewhat minor and I have been receiving treatment for almost a year. My attorney made it VERY clear that it was important to go to the IME. Also as others have said or hinted to, the attorney is getting a percentage of the settlement I assume, if he/she thought you could get more, they would probably advise you to go to trial. If this was 4 yrs agao and your GF was only seen for 2 motnhs. How serious could the injusry have been? Maybe the attorney's quote was before knowing extent or lack of extent of the injuries?

Please remove your advertising post, or it will be removed for you.

Getting a bit bossy there aren't you?? What makes it extremely funny is that you quoted him and have the same advertising link in your very own post.

I'd agree with the other posters...given the circumstances, I wouldn't switch attorneys. It sounds like the settlement is reasonable for the mininmal amount of treatment incurred (this I believe, though I am not an attorney, is a direct reflection of "damages" and relative to pain and suffering. My family is settling a case right now worth somewhere betwen $200,000 - $300,000, but this case involved a multi-night stay in the intensive care unit, more than $60,000 in medical bills, and 6 years of accrued treatment records.
