Then you would be wrong. The circumstances make a great deal of difference. And, "He's already under contract to another contract to someone else" is a valid reason. Or was he supposed to break the contract to the other employer for your convenience?

This is not a legal comment just common sense. Why would they keep an employee at a client that he is not happy with. My contract says I only have to give a 2 week notice. Now instead of collecting from one client they will colect from 0. They have also lost any chance of future work from me and this client will not be happy when they find out as they are trying to fill the position permamently.

Oh, I have been wrong before and will be wrong many more times in the future. lol. The reason, I posted the question.

Thanks for your time. I guess this is why people get frustrated with the law. I would think it would be either legal or illegal for them to tell a company not to hire someone no matter what the reason but especially if it was along the line of we have him under contract with another employer. Well, I guess if I can't win in court, I'll win the other way. I'll put in my 2 week notice so they don't make anymore moey on me and will lose money from the vacation they have to pay me. Thanks again.

i can call up a company that you are interviewing with and say "don't hire him" there is nothing illegal about that.
