I was fired on 2/8 just a week before I went off a six month probationary period in Minnesota. In early November I was evaluated in writing and told, in writing, that I would be evaluated another time in January. My evaluation was okay in November and I was never told they were unsatisfied with my work at any time. Can they fire me without giving the promised evaluation?

If your employer is an at-will employer, he/she may let you go at any time, wiht or without cause.
