My atty. has been in practice for 25 years in family law. He is not wrong. I am not backing down from this. I can call the cops and make him get off my property. We did this last Christmas we flipped our visitation days for that week.
I thought he was a high powered criminal attorney. And you cannot call the cops and make him get off your property when he is there PER the court order. If you do that, a court will slam you hugely to the point of custodial interference on your part. I have been in court hearings where the other side threatened to call the police if they didn't like the fact that the other parent showed up or brought someone with them for their court appointed pick up time and to the number EACH judge/magistrate told the parent that if they dared to pull that card (attempting to have the person arrested for showing up at the court ordered time) they would find themselves losing custody if the other parent pressed the issue. Your behavior is UNEXCUSABLE.

When a state does not have standard guidelines its not at all uncommon for individual counties within that state to have their own standard guidelines that they use. I know for certain that there are some counties in OK that have such guidelines. Unfortunately, you usually won't find county guidelines online easily.
Learn something new everyday. I always thought it was State based.

Nope. Ohio goes county by county as well. And LD, I am not scathing about the attorney's advice -- however I am completely on the fact that this poster has lied several times on the boards and contradicted herself left and right. She has no clue and I honestly believe her attorney never told her half the crap she is posting on here. And if her attorney is "firing" a court appointed mediator then he is an idiot. Because attorneys can NOT fire court appointees. All they can do is request the court remove said person.

I know of one county in particular here in Texas that has drawn up its own 'standards' - and some of them are Nothing like the state guidelines at all.....

In SC the do not have state or county standards. Each judge has their standard and do those standards vary.

Some have an 8 5 5 8 rotation (50/50) some like every other week, and some like the standard eow split holidays, 2-5 weeks in the summer, and maybe one weeknight a week.

It really is a crap shoot.
