I have seen many times companies will pay a spouse or girl friend for the services of another. Everyone realizes that this is not legal and just a way to avoid child support. Dad claims he is unemployed, but goes to work using his girlfriends social security number and the payroll checks are made out to her. On the surface it looks all clean, and on the books it will list her as a consultant or something, even though Dad is doing his normal job there. Especially a company on the throws of bankruptcy, most bosses don't care about playing these games as their company is in the toilet anyway.

Well...I wouldn't quite say that this company is "in the toilet". They have filed a chapter 11 (which is like a chapter 13 for a personal bankruptcy), that indicates an intent to continue operations. What I suspect is a CEO who himself is paying CS and has played games with his own...and is willing to help an employee play games with his too.

I really do feel sorry for the girlfriend in this case though. I strongly suspect that she is going to get "hammered" at tax time and I honestly doubt that she has a clue.

What may be real funny out of this My Ex's girlfriend that he lives with has 2 other Fathers in the picture paying child support. On her taxes (Which I see because I Returns from me ex "when he files" whom claims head of househild) She claims to make nothing. Maybe this will affect her child support to go lower. Some way it will come back.

My kids just returned from their Holiday with their father .My 15 year old said she went to Dads work for two days and helped him work . I can only laugh at this point!!Like I said Monday will be my big Day in court. Hopefully Child support Services and my Attorney can put my ex in his spot.

Well, Ex never showed up to his court date! He started the whole thing asking for Modification and then the Chapter 11 fiasco started . Child support Services will only resend wage garnishment to his "Invisible Employer" I'm still pulling chapter 11 papers. They are filing every couple days some sort of motions. The more the better so I can find more out.

Yesterday the kids needed something from Dad so we went to his Invisible work to pick up . I hope he gets an invisible pay check soon!!

The child support Attorney threw the request out and is back to what it has been for 3 years. So atleast arrears are adding up!! But no support for right now.

My ex is the queen of not paying child support. First she send us a totally wrong worksheet, then kept arguing about that for months, then still never sent in the sheet but we took her to court anyway and they estimated her worth. She appealed this ruling, which delayed it another 10 months. She did not pay anything still and owes over $20,000. She has her mother keep her money for her so that she can claim pauper status while she drives around in a brand new car and lives in a ritzy apartment. She has told me numerous times that she has no intention of ever paying child support. So far, she has made good on her promise. She works a few jobs under the table and has the checks made out to her mother or other people so they can cash them and give her the money. She plays the system well, and then pleads poverty to the court with her $350 and hour attorney. Yep - nothing like the scorn of a woman.
