Keep in mind too, that you are not obligated to support her in the meantime either. So if she comes to you for money before the baby is born, you don't have to give her anything. And if you do give her money, and it turns out either A) she is not pregnant, or B) the baby isn't yours, you won't be getting your money back.
I have a friend who did this thinking the child was his and put Mom up and gave her the world while she was pregnant only to have her leave after the baby was born. When he petitioned for paternity and visitation they took the DNA test it was proven the baby wasn't his. He was devastated. Don't sign an AOP until a DNA test confirms you are the Dad.
