Child Support is something I did not fight, I was told even though we have 50:50 custody I made more than her and I would have to pay. My problem with paying it is I believe she doesn't use that money for clothes/food for our son. We put my son in nice clothes, after school activities and sports. All which she does not contribute to or even want him in. But now, because the court sided with having my son sent to my school district she wanted to use the child support as bait to try and get me to agree to let her move away. (something I would never do)

I could go on, but my ramblings make difference when it comes to the legal questions I asked before. Sorry to ramble.

Dad, it is accurate that in a 50/50 timeshare the parent with the higher income pays some child support. That is accurate pretty much nation wide.

However, if your son is fed at mom's house, has clothes to wear (even if the are not the name brands you want) has a roof over his head and his other needs (not wants) are met, then the child support is being spend appropriately. Once you get to court, do NOT say anything at all about your opinion of how she spends the child support. That will not endear you to the judge.
