I have teenagers. If there was this much distress? confusion?? turnmoil ? in their lives I would not have any issue with them speaking to the judge themselves. It is empowering for teens to have some control in their lives.

to each its own

public hearing

The question here was about joan marie's (my ex) new husband sending e-mails to myself and other parties that I know are un true and the only reason he had sent was to try to cause damage with others in my life. I am so very surprised that joan marie now finds the ability to reply. So many times she sits by and allows her husband to be the spokesperson. If she had always taken the postion of dealing with matters directly then this post would have never been made.
Thank you all for the positive information you had given. For those who had replied trying to make this a public hearing what can I say. Get your facts straight and make sure you can substantiate them where it counts. The only judgment which counts is those ordered by the courts.

E-mail has a feature where you can block unwanted people from sending them to you. Do that. Advise the 'others' you refer to, to do the same if it bothers them.
