I dunno, my ex and the mother of his eldest had CO attorneys for CS.
Was it for contempt for non payment ? Like you're facing incarceration .

I hear they do for that , but have no first hand knowledge of it .

I had to do all my hearings myself .

I helped my GF's now deceased father in preparing for his hearing , and he didn't have a lawyer either .

Nope, she just wanted more money cause we got married and the judge offered them both Co's and they went and both qualified. My ex's mother also got a co attorney to sue me for visitation. Can you believe that?! I'm paying for her to sue me!!!

Ahhhh our wonderful tax money at work.

LOL , they told the granny suing my GF for visits , she had to hire one LOL .

Gee I wonder then , if I would have qualified the last time I was in for CS modification ?

Doesn't matter , I prevailed anyways . :D
