Unfortunately, there is nothing your "politicians" can do for your friend, in the absence of committing political suicide themselves - - and for a druggy? The justice system, I believe, is not run by politicians. If William Jefferson Clinton can be impeached, how much chance do you think your druggy friend has? What you meant to say was, "This is the first time my friend has been caught."
