[QUOTE}Sorry about just saying "fathers" earlier...it just seems to me that the system is biased and lean most times toward mothers...I may be wrong. thanks![/QUOTE]

I believe this happens to fathers more often. In the state I live in custody is granted to the "mothers" 99.1% of the time. I participated in helping an organization document such theories. I looked at physical cases and we came up with the percentage. The system is biased. My husband went to court and was told to change his job and be at home when the kids are at home to see them. He did. Now BM is doing the exact thing BF was doing and all she says is SO WHAT. BM sees her kids 1 1/2 days during the week not including her weekends. But she should be seeing them 4 days of the week. We get them one of the days plus EOW. She goes to school during the night and does nothing during the day. No job. Probably just sleeps.

I just bought a ticket (after mother agreed to dates and price) for my oldest son to spend Spring Break, starting this Saturday with me for 7 days. It was agreed upon 2 weeks ago. I returned a call to this son to confirm last night and he put his mother on the phone who said I could not have him unless I took the whole week off of work or got him a babysitter. He will be 16 soon. I am already taking a few days off, but he is old enough to stay at my home alone while I am at work and he also has grandparents here he is able to visit any time while I am at work. His mother states he is now not allowed to come. When you say your husband was told to get a new job...was it the same reason?

Thank you SO much! I just checked out the site and think it will be very helpful. I was just denied visitation AGAIN this past weekend and felt like giving up the last day or two, but I know it is only a temporary feeling. I won't give up! Thank you for such supportive words.
