This may well be a good time to quietly and discretely talk to a Attorney about what you must do in your state to establish at the very least 50% custody in order to have your children with you 50% of the time if the two of you split up, I have known several parents who have sought those kinds of custody agreements and were awarded 50/ 50 custody so the only thing that would have to be settled is which parent reimburses the other for health care ins & co pays , As far as the house goes I too suggest you not put her on the title and remind her this wont be a issue when the two of you are ready to get married. But do talk to a attorney about what you must do should she move out and take the kids with her while your at work.
