If you don't like the law, call your congressperson and ask for a change.

However, it would not do the OP any good to act according to your wishes as to how the world should be and find himself in big boy prison.

This is a legal site. If you want to debate the appropriateness of the law or the logic behind it, take it to another "discussion" post.

All those posts do here is confuse an obviously already confused person.

To the OP...

Regardless of 'what should be's and could've's, you are bound by the laws of the state, city, count and municipality in which you are physically present in at the time of the crime's commission.

By that law, you may not, repeat not, have sex with anyone under the age of 18.

Actually, child molestation is a term that applies to children, which is generally someone 13 years or younger. "100% accurate" shows a lot of ignorance.

Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute

Read up.

"A child is a girl or boy who is 13 years of age or younger.

What's the age difference between a molester and a child? It is five years, so a 14-year-old "older child" sexually touching a nine-year-old is an example. This is the accepted medical definition."

If you truly believe that an 18 year old sleeping with a 17 year old is child molestation then I hope there are settings on this site that can allow me to never view your posts again.

If that is toward me, I stated in my post that I don't condone phlawedpharmacy advising the OP to break the law.

Now that we have that out of the way - I don't need to petition my congressman as

1. I live in PA. and

2. Such laws don't apply to married couples. and

3. My wife is 23.

As you've been told over and over again, this is a LEGAL site. Your post from http://www.childmolestationprevention.org does not provide the LEGAL definition that is used.

Our OP is speaking about California. If you cannot provide LEGAL advice (as opposed to the made up, knee-jerk posts that you usually give), then I suggest you STOP posting.

In CA, while it is a crime, it is not child molestation. I will be ignoring all your posts in all threads from now on.

I will try to live a complete life anyway.

And according to California law, child molestation is exactly what it is.

So, what is YOUR definition? (I am only curious since everybody else KNOWS you are wrong)

I haven't seen this much denial since my last heroin meeting.

Between Arnold and a couple others here, you must be the only conservatives in all of CA. With all the teen abortion clinics and high school condom drives I don't know how you could paste a cogent case together with scotch-tape and superglue.

Forget this brazen idea of 30+ men trolling high schools and simply remember back to your own experience. Junior and Senior guys were always dating freshman and sophomore girls. You think Porky's and Revenge of the Nerds was some fairy-tale premise and really no one else was having more fun than you? Got news... YES...THEY....WERE. By the time you were a Senior you couldn't date any Senior girls because they all had college boyfriends, and there was really no way you could compete with that. That's reality. I don't remember a single incident where the law swung it's big d*** at anyone, and that would have made for some good gossip. Seriously get over yourselves. Apparently I too was a virgin until I was 18 since none of the sex I had ever really counted. I too am still married to my high school sweetheart 19 years later.

Again, this is not a discussion on the sociol - sexuality of a modern high school.

This is a legal discussion. What they laws may or may not have been when you were in high school mean nothing. What you wish the laws were today mean nothing. Whether or not you believe the law is being followed or should be means nothing.

This is a legal discussion. If all you want to do is muse nostalgically about your high school days and what you believe is going on in schools today, you are on the wrong forum.

No matter how strongly you feel about it.

YOU ARE GOING TO ADVISE SOMEONE TO BREAK THE LAW ON THE SOLE REASON THAT YOU DON'T THINK THE LAW SHOULD BE A LAW.

I hope, sincerely, that they OP then sues you into the ground if he gets caught.

Ok you are of course right, I digress.

For the purpose of pleaing, this is a genuine misdemeanor. I only defend my statements for their relevant jurisprudence, which is also a legal reality within the scope of the site.

So, where in your whole diatribe is there any information based on the LAW?

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Again, if you can't post information based on the LAW, then don't post.

That it is illegal is a matter of law.

That it is "sick" was your opinion. There was mine.
Where did "sick" come in to play?
Didn't you notice what I bolded/underlined?

I suggest you read for a while before posting again. Your fingers are running faster than your comprehension.
