Louisiana Can someone tell me if this is illegal... you are a sales person and at the beginning of each appraisal period you are given a goal that you have to meet in order to qualify for a bonus/trip... other perks. Let's say that the appraisal period is from Jan - Dec. In November the company sends out a company wide memo listing all of the people who, at that point have met their goals and will mostly likely be getting the bonus and you are on it. Then in January when all of the final numbers are tallyed... they have CHANGED your GOAL! And not just yours but several other people. You call your supervisor, he knows nothing about it... gives you permission to go to Corporate... you do and are told, "that's just the way it is and end of story".
