Listen up Burger Boy;
I highly suggest that you stick with answering posts that are more suited to your area of expertise. These posts would contain such terms such as “spatula” “shredded lettuce” “Would you like to super size?” and last but not least “Welcome to Burger Kind may I take your order?”. But please, don’t limit yourself. Posts that also ask for advice containing such subject matters as: “Dentures at age 20 ain’t dat darn bad I fink?”, “How do ya’ all keep da’ cat off dat dare sofa on da’ porch?” and “I’m 15 in the 3rd grade when will I graduate?” would also benefit from your worldly wisdom.
Oh, an you can't go a switchin' da' children ya' know. Ya' fella dar Billy Clinton ya voted into office done put millions into Social Service programs ya' even disapline da' child now, no sir, just can't, nope.
Class dismissed!

Katbird, don't take this personally...her being happier at her fathers. Up until now he hasn't had to be the primary disapline in her life, nor has he had to deal with her on a daily basis. In addition, she might (be scared and) consider this move to be her last stop on the parent train before she is turned over to state custody. Many times changing homes does make a big difference not because the other parent is the better parent, but because the child hasn't been witness to this parents anger and fustration at their actions...like being wrong in the eyes of both parents can be sobering to some. If your ex still has problems with her, you guys might benefit from a toughlove.com support group. Things like taking the doors off their rooms and leaving them with 3 hots and cots worked for me when my son was going thru the young-teen-do-what-I-want-when-I-want phase. He's now in college but still talks about how I dressed up like a clown and walked him to class.
Good Luck!

All is well and good with the advice red but I don't think that i want to spend time in jail for child abuse we have laws here that says a parent can't dicsipline thier child the way oour parents dicsiplined us and she would call the police if I did that, trust me she has called them before because I smacked her across the face for calling me a b*****.
