OK Driver License Relocation Procedures
If you are a new resident of Oklahoma, or you are currently in the process of moving to Oklahoma, you can apply for an Oklahoma drivers license by submitting the following to your local Department of Public Safety (DPS) office:

Your valid out-of-state drivers license.
One secondary form of ID, such as a Social Security card, military ID card, or marriage certificate.
Proof of OK residency.
$21.50 license fee.

You will probably not be required to take the written license test, or the driving the road skills test (the requirement of the written and driving tests is dependant on the state you are relocating from), but you will be required to pass a vision exam.

Expired Licenses

If your license is expired, you must pass the vision exam, the license test, and the driving test. All information pertaining to the tests is included in the OK Driver’s Manual, available through the OK DPS:

Oklahoma Department of Public Safety
P.O. Box 11415
Oklahoma City, OK 73136
(405) 425-2424

You can also take a practice test online, available through a variety of independent companies specializing in drivers education.

Suspended Licenses

If your license has been suspended by another state, you are ineligible to apply for an Oklahoma drivers license.

And from what I could find, it's 30 days, not 10. I'd suggest doing some more digging though.

Thanks man. I know about the suspended part, but my thing is I couldn't find any place describing the procedures for a restricted license. It's not a suspended license because it's valid and active, but it's also not a full free and clear license either. The only restriction is that I must maintain a ignition interlock on any vehicle that is registered in KS for one year. But my other problem is that no matter who I call or talk to I don't get a clear cut answer, its always either a different story or muddy like they aren't sure.

Then read a copy of the OK DL manual. It's available online. They have restricted license types listed there.

The only restrictions I see are the one for the GDL and the ones on 2-3, but still doesn't answer my question of if I can get an OK DL or if I have to keep my KS one or how to go about taking care of this. It says option 8 which is for any special restrictions but doesn't say anything about what those are or what I need to do.
