I am in Wyoming I recently went and purchased a truck but the one I wanted they said they could not Finance me on well they brought another truck out and said they could Finance me on it I agreed I signed the contract and my finance company paid info well I looked at my finance loan documents online and they had different vehicle information they had the make model year mileage and VIN number of the truck that I originally wanted and I looked at my hard copies I got from the dealership they also had the same information on it of the vehicle I want it but the bill of sale has the information of the vehicle they actually gave me they want me to sign a new contract but I do not want to and I make them give me the vehicle that my loan company purchased and what they have on file from them because they're already paid in full so the loan companies already going to put a lien on the vehicle that they got documentation on and unless I decide to cancel contract the dealership is unable to because I have met all my obligations they're the only ones short do I have any legal standing to pursue the vehicle that's on my sales contract and what my finance company has on file

That's ridiculously hard to read through. How about trying that again with something that resembles proper capitalization and punctuation?

I suggest you cancel the current vehicle sales contract while you still can without penalty and start again from scratch.

And then make sure you read the new contract in its entirety, with all its terms and conditions, and with all of its vehicle and financing information, before signing.

The problem is that you were a victim of bait and switch by crooks who will wear you down.

Go back and demand the truck that's on your purchase contract and see how far you get. Then come back and report.

So I don't have a legal right to the truck they have already been paid for in full that's on the sales contract?

Cancel the first contract. Redo the paperwork for the vehicle you want. Scrivener’s errors make a poor basis for a legal action.

Or, as adjusterjack implies, cancel the current contract and buy a vehicle elsewhere.

well i mean as long as I don't cancel the contract they can't sell the truck because my loan company has a lien on it so hopefully have some levage one guy told me he was going to cancel contract and I checked with my loan company and they said they can't since they have already been paid in full

I again suggest that you cancel your current contract and either have a new contract drawn up with the correct information on the vehicle you want - or cancel the contract and purchase a vehicle elsewhere.

I understand your frustration but you apparently paid for the truck you got, according to your sales receipt, and you didn’t pay for the one you originally wanted but didn’t get, even though that vehicle’s information was (inadvertently entered) on the contract you signed.

You will need to have all of the documents, including your loan documents, changed to reflect the correct vehicle identification number and vehicle information of the vehicle you actually purchased.

If you still want what (I am assuming is) the more expensive vehicle, you will need to qualify for a loan on that vehicle at that vehicle’s price

Yes, the dealership appears to have screwed up but it seems to be an honest error. They sold you the right truck for the right price (the one that could be financed and for which you have a sales receipt) but had you sign the wrong contract on the wrong vehicle.

This SHOULD have been a detectable error if the contract had been read thoroughly and carefully prior to signing. But it seems evident that both you and the dealership understood which vehicle you were purchasing at what price and that understanding is accurately noted on the sales receipt.

You can of course try to argue with the dealership on this. I am not sure you will have success in getting the vehicle you originally wanted at the same price you paid for the other vehicle, however.
