ok, this will probably sound stupid but. I found out that he tried to take me to court twice for a judgement debtors exam or something to that effect. I was out of town each time he supposedly tried to have served the papers to appear in court. I was out of state working both times and did not find out till after the court dates. The atty told me that I have to be served papers first before anything is actually done in court. If that is in fact true would that buy me just a little more time ?I am definetly not trying to put anything off. I`m just curious because I am trying to sell my car, if I can sell it I will have the $ to pay him and make him go away. Thanks again HG
**A: yes, you need to be served in order to have to appear in court. So if you move to Canada and hide in the hills, you can buy yourself lots of time.

Thanks HG, you made me smile, something I haven`t been able to do much lately of because of this. I`m not trying to get out of paying him by any means. I owe, I pay. Thats just the way it is. I just don`t like the way he`s going about it is all. Especially from family. I think it`s despicable but oh well. I want to say thanks for your help, it really doesn`t go unappreciated. One last question that I just thought of though,,, who has to pay for his lawyer to keep filing court dates with the courts, me not showing up/not getting served , that sort of stuf,,, do I get the pleasure of having that tacked onto my bill as well or does that get to be my present to my brother and he has to pay it ? Please say he has to ! Once again thanks for your help.:D

P.S. I was actually thinking of Costa Rica, never thought much of Canada
