Holiday Contempt Question

When is the timestamped date on the order? You seriously have a need to get a better written order. Can you prove he had her last year? Are the children spending time together during Christmas because based on that one is flying north while the other is flying south.

I would definately head to court, not for contempt, but to clarify that order. I concur with the other posters....OMG!!! Ive been lurking here for years & I don't think Ive ever heard of something being worded like that on a legal document, sounds more like something from a napkin

I would agree with all of you 100%. That document has so many loop holes. I called the court house today to have a complete copy with changes and all sent to me.

It was timestamped May of 2008. And I have plane ticket stubs that show they were there last year for Christmas. And yes, I agree if I understand you correctly that the children should not be seperated for Christmas. It is important that they spend the holidays together. If I am wrong on the visitation, I will be the first to correct my end. I also see now that it doesnt state that they be anywhere particule for New Years, do you see or read it that way? I see it just mentions Christmas visitation. I agree with you all.....OMG ....

Such "court legal" documents are generally only as well written as those filing them make them. If this was filed by attorneys then shame on them. If filed without an attorney, and I would guess it was, then this would be a better explanation for this.

Presumably before this "loopholed document" was submitted to the court and signed all parties affirmed they were in agreement with and understood the terms of the proposed order.

Ok, so until I can figure out this mess with these lowsy papers we have, he has our son flying here for New Years visitation the day after Christmas. But he has our son (10 Year old) flying unaccompanied minor New Years Morning back to him at 9:55 am with a 2 hour lay over in Baltimore. There were other direct flights the day after New Years as well as direct flights later in the day for him to fly out. What are you feelings on this? Is that appropriate for a young child? Lets assume Im suppose to have him for New Years this year, can he fly him out on the holiday Im suppose to have him? Thanks again for your help.

And yes, I agree if I understand you correctly that the children should not be seperated for Christmas.

But, that part of the order is actually clear ... you all agreed that the children would spend holidays away from each other.
