I just went through a divorce, judge signed 2 days ago. In the decree I was awarded the house. My ex-wife still lives there. She says she is not moving until she is forced to move. I think she just wants free rent for a while. I offered to rent her the house for about 2/3's what she can rent someplace else for, she said she wouldn't. I know I could evict her but two of my childred live with her, I cannot pay the house payment without the rent. My intention with the house was to rent it out. Is there a better way to get her out of the house other than eviction....?
