I mean, like more sites should ban the stuff.

I know the United Nations tried to pass a resolution to ban the stuff,i feel it should be banned since it can be used for bad.

I hope the United Nations passes such a resolution again and this time it passes.

Good grief. This is not a discussion site.

Thank you for starting your own thread but, as Ohiogal noted, FreeAdvice is not a discussion forum. It is designed to assist people with their current legal issues.

As a note: In the U.S., web hosts are afforded an immunity from suit under the Communications Decency Act’s section 230 if they did not contribute to the content or encourage particular content. It will be the content-creators who are held responsible for the content they publish.

There are already laws around the world that prohibit the publication of child pornography. Penalties vary by country.

If you would like to see stronger measures taken against the publishers of child pornography, you can speak to your state senators and representatives.

Are you expecting us to click on all of those links and try to figure out what you're talking about? How about a brief paragraph or two that explains the relevant facts and asks whatever legal question(s) you have?

OP wants to chit-chat about how some sites illegally sell stuff that is protected by IP law. This is not the appropriate forum.

The title of the thread asks the question - and the question is one that is fine to ask on a discussion forum but is really not the type of question we entertain on a regular basis here.

rockerfox originally had revived a thread from 2018 about publications that depict fictional animals having sex. That old thread from 2018 asked about the legality of such depictions. See the following thread for further information: https://forum.freeadvice.com/threads/does-the-protect-act-of-2003-cover-non-human-fictional-characters.649570/

Sorry.

Of course this thread seems kinda nicer than another site i will not name when i mentioned wanting to ban the stuff. Some people were making fun of me and calling me a Nazi, when i'm actually of mixed race.

There is no need to apologize to us.

You are definitely not the first to confuse this forum for one that discusses general legal issues. We stick to addressing posters’ real life current legal issues.
