I know this isn't going to sound good, but we need advise on how to proceed.
Background: My husband and I almost filed for a divorce about a month ago, but decided to work things out. I went away for a weekend and when I came back we talked things out. I ended up getting pregnant that weekend. (Not on purpose, we both are happy and want the baby).
I just found out that that same weekend he cheated on me and now this other girl is also pregnant. Which would make us due 2 days apart. It's not a 100% chance that it is his, as she is known to "sleep around" (there could be a chance that it could be my husband's brothers kid).
At first the girl said her father wanted my husband to "sign his rights away" and have nothing to do with the baby or the mother. Now the mother wants him to be a part of the baby's life.
How should we proceed? He wants nothing to do with the mother, but if it's his kid he wants to be a part of it's life. Should we just wait til it's born and have the mother pay for a paternity test?
Any other advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
