I am a friend, he asked for my opinion on what to do, I figured I'd ask on here to get any helpful replies, you all come back jumping down my throat for no reason. When a friend asks for help, I am willing to help, not because I like other people's drama. She doesn't pay rent, so technically that does not make her a tenant, she's just a live-in moocher. And sorry to break the fun Atlanta, but I have my own home thank you, not looking to be his next live-in.

Sure. We believe you.

What you think constitutes a tenant is immaterial. Your *friend* has received accurate legal info.

The fact that she LIVES THERE makes her a tenant. It doesn't matter if she pays rent in money or "other services". She has the same rights.
