)()()()()()()()()()()()()( Lady! you said it! GOOD for you!
and... my question here is, why did the original poster just not either make sure they actually HAD the money in the account or send them a money order for the amount due? Would have save LOTS of stress, and LOTS of NSF fees...
Now that attorney I worked for, he was king of check bouncer, bounced/NSF over 12 paychecks to me in a 6 month period, time comes to say what the ****?, grow up move on to reasponsible employment income , you know? this guy had the bank caling me EVERY day saying he need 100 buck, 600 bucks, 20 bucks, whatever in his account by 10 or they would NSF it, he had SO many bank fees, he had to take money out of the "trust" account to pay his own personal bills and fees. He was and is a LOSER! hence my high opinion of attorneys.. Do not get me wrong, this guy was my best friend for 10 years, I almost married him once, then I worked for him and LEARNED about him....
anyhow
to the original poster, I know mistakes are possible, I once made a one cent mistake which cost me over 30 dolars in NSF bank fees. We are not all rich, but still, do not write a check until it has posted and CLEARED and you KNOW you have the money in you account to cover theat cheack..
kinda like the "I cant be overdrawn, I still have checks in my checkbook joke...
hee hee hee
"you GOT to learn to laugh!"
