And there is nothing stopping someone from filing several small claims suits based on each separate violation.

Yes Kan there is something stopping them. It is little thing you know nothing about called law.

What will happen is that the defending counsel will file motions to combine the suit and move the case to district or federal court. Either way - you lose.

District court, federal court - it's all the same to small non-attorney me (although that might change; not the getting bigger part, the law school part) against big well-endowed them. No thanks, I've got bigger fish to fry, & my pot isn't big enough as it is.
Speaking of law school, any of you attorneys regret law school? Would you recommend it highly? Does it run your life? Because I'm a big fan of adequate sleep - my all-nighter days are over. The rest of it I could probably handle.

LOL... I guess you can be thankful your pot is not very large, or they would be coming after that as well.

amazing

I found this banter back and forth very informative. If you look at my post that DC quoted in his first response, it is about a bill collector who gave my personal info to my parents. He told me at that time that it was not worth the effort to persue it. I did not know who he was at the time ( a bill collector) or I would have filed a complaint!!!!
