roll your eyes, but people are starting to wake up to this, just ask the woman who won a 3 million dollar equifax settlement, I'm sure she would join a boycott!

From your link:

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- A jury has ordered U.S. consumer-credit reporting agency Equifax Inc. to pay nearly $3 million for failing to correct dramatic errors in a credit report.

So, tell me...how does this have ANYTHING to do with a clause in an insurance contract? (I think I'll roll my eyes some more now...):rolleyes::rolleyes:

well, it just shows that this persons life was ruined by equifax - loans denied, etc. etc. I mean this went on for years, they may have lost jobs due to it - at which point they probably would have liked to opt out. I guess the idea is that this is the largest decision ever against equifax, so people are perhaps getting sick of their crap.

people like her would probably want to start signing contracts that opt them out of equifax reporting if they were educated about how it could be done - no different from income tax boycotts - just, this would be legal.

OP, you're not getting it. No insurance company, worth billions of dollars, is going to give you special treatment, in order to get your business, which is worth, at the most, a few thousand dollars per year. You're also forgetting that what you're looking for is illegal. You're also asking about the privacy policy of thousands of insurance companies, which we don't have.

I've already provided you with the information that you want - be self-insured and don't deal with insurance companies.
