What is the name of your state? Washington DC

I’m try find away to prove in court that any over night stay should count as one day. For example I’m arguing that a weekend visit that starts on Friday afternoon and ends on Monday morning should count as 3 days. The judge in the case has calculated the days by the total number of hours. But he has said that if I can find some kind of case law or anything else that shows he should count by the night he will reconsider. So I believe I would need a local or federal law or case to help my situation.

Any help will be greatly appreciated because the support currently unreasonable for the amount of time I have my daughter.

you want credit for having the child overnight while they are sleeping and don't want the other parent to get credit for having the child while they are awake and eating- I think the judge is doing the most fair thing

Don't be so emotional

I have the child for the complete summer (June 15 till one week before school opens) and normal holidays. And I have the child while the child is awake and eating on Friday all day Saturday and Sunday and Monday morning and provide lunch on Monday. And according to the custody order I'm responsible for the care of the child on Mondays if school is closed or the child becomes sick so yes any over night stay should count as a day.

Ok, if the child stays with you on Monday when he's sick, then it will count as a day.

A day is 24 hours. What is the problem with the judge counting it as such?

Apparently OP's problem with that is that he feels if his child (or as he says, "the" child) wakes up in his home and he feeds her breakfast and takes her to school, his support obligation for that day is done.

Hey last the other parent is doing nothing to support the child doing the day but gets credit for it.

I guess that would be the time that the taxpayers are providing support for your child.

Why don't you get a little meter to hang around her neck that you can feed with quarters (or I guess in your case, nickels) to make sure you only provide financial support for her only while she is actually in your presence? As an added bonus, she can calculate exactly how much you care about her and be constantly reminded that she is a burden and an unfair financial obligation to you.

Please don't spawn any more children.

Ok Last she is not a waste of air such as yourself. The issue is that the other parent makes a considerable amount more then I do and has stated that the reason for child support is to punish me. But most women such as you would agree on that.

Being obnoxious to people trying to help you understand is not gonna win you any points here. Why don't you go and hire an Attorney to insult.
