I appreciate that you are a more sophisticated purchaser than Karinthy is, and that someone less naive may have had the car inspected prior to purchase. However, when a car seller indicates that a car has been inspected AND that the car has not been in an accident, he is guilty of false advertising if, in fact, the car was not inspected and/or the car was in an accident. Karinthy was guilty of nothing more than trusting this guy.
Sure, it is buyer beware. But I believe this guy deserved a negative report (in fact, I am about ready to give him one, myself, just on principle ).
I also believe he is going to be sadly surprised, and out of a lot of money, if he thinks he will win a defamation suit against Karinthy for her posting a negative feedback. She had a bad experience with him, she posted it, should be end of story.
