You have too much free time to sit around and think about him! Keep yourself busy with other things, heck, when I was your age I was so busy dreaming and planning my future, dream jobs, international travels, friends etc etc that no guy stayed in my mind for longer than it took say "adios". Come to think of it, I've never let myself get heartbroken over any guy and I'm in my early 30s.
Turn to your interests and spend some time on them. Don't let yourself give that pathetic guy what he doesn't deserve. Selfrespect isn't easy to regain after you've given it up.
You have your whole life ahead of you, so many dreams to make come true, so many plans to make. All of that should be taking up your time.
I understand that you are hurt, but it will get better and the quicker you move on the better.
You'll be fine.

Well, I can certainly see why your folks don't want you hangin' with him. The "bad boy" always seems so exciting and *dangerous* (not just to young women, I might add), but they are rarely more than bad boys - in every sense of the word. And a guy like that is going to cause nothing but heartache - be glad you're finding that out now, rather tham after you've been together a while and there's a baby or two between you as well. Turn your back and walk away, hon.
