I live in California. My son lives in my house with his girlfriend. he is 24 and she is 18. She has become insane and I need her out. She pays $200 to help. There is no written agreement. She was told that other than her cat she was not allowed anymore pets. She now has more behind my back and they have made my basement into squalor. She has become manitpulative and I need to know how to get her out. It is not a legal rental, I was just trying to help her out after she got kicked out of her house and now I realize why she was kicked out. Help me please! She is very impulsive and I want to go about this the right way.

You will need to evict her per the LL/Tenant laws of California.

There is an agreement. You have allowed to stay there and she pays $200.

How can you argue there is no agreement ?
Sorry, I meant written agreement. I am coming to you all for advice on this very delicate situation. There is not an argument here, just trying to ask all of the questions I have, whether naive to you or not. Thanks you for your input and advise, truely.

There doesn’t need to be a written agreement for, their to be a landlord tenant relationship.

So, you will need to do as advised and give the girl proper notice to terminate the tenancy. If she fails to leave willingly you will have to file an unlawful detainer action and seek to have her evicted.
