Just to clarify...

I don't want to designate anyone to pick up the kids for me at this point. But since custody changes at 8am on Wednesday, I know that there is no way that the ex can get here to get the kids, get home to drop them off with his wife, and then get to work on time. SO, I was hoping that it would be ok if the lil woman picked up the kids.

I didn't think it sounded good to start stuff w/CSE this soon either. I was a little surprised that the woman @ the court suggested it. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't 'standard practice'.

I'll just have to figure out how to word the email to the ex so he doesn't infer snarkiness on my part, and will send his wife to pick up the kids.

You are the only one who could complain; if you don't complain, then the judge will never know.

I have warned that woman @ the court to stop handing out legal advice, but she will NOT listen to me.

How about: "Your wife can pick up the kids"?

Fire the b*tch. I need a job.

Heh. I wonder if it would really be that easy. He's gone from "Speak to my wife about the kids because she spends more time with them than I do" to "What the hell gives you the right to speak to my wife."

From personal experiences in Court , when litagants are in front of the Judge numerous times , They tend to get Irratated , and what comes from their mouths a rulings aren't fun to hear . One even Stated I don't want to see either of you in front of me again . But of Course they nitpick at each other again like masitoes , nats , or flies that bite , and whon't abide by the Orders . Until the Judge has had it .
What are you talking about? My ex and I have appeared in front of this (or any) judge exactly 2 times. Once for the original dissolution, and for this custody trial.

BL is responding to SJ when SJ said that judges don't recognize litigants. BL was responding that sometimes they do depending on the circumstances. It is not necessarily a personal comment about you :D
