New Mexico. Is been a year. This happened in his home.....I didn't report to the police... I waited a few days before going to ARISE so I can document the incident, and get treatment. All I have is a a text message with his apology.

I am willing to bet I am not the only one. I am scared because I haven't come out with this, that someone else is going to get hurt.

What can I do to see if there other victims? Should I find a lawyer? I have been I therapy for a year.....

I recommend you report the rape to the police. Police detectives will investigate the crime to see if there are/were other victims.

I am not seeing that you have any need for a lawyer. And I advise that you continue with your therapy.

Good luck.

Your first step is to report it to the police. You shouldn't do anything about finding any other victims, as that could interfere with any legal investigations. You don't need a lawyer, as the DA will take care of filing charges if they have enough evidence.

what did the arise folks tell you?. What evidence did they collect? Did the evidence they collected show it was likely to have been rape?
