I'll fight it myself...but how?

First of all, thanks to all who responded with advice on my former posts. The dilemma is that I still cannot find an attorney to work on contingency with me to sue my former employer. So, since I consider myself fairly intelligent (no laughing) I have decided to file suit myself. But not in small claims court. I know I could file pauper status and see about getting a public defender, but I don't see that as a resolution. My question is, how do I start the deluge of paperwork and make my former employer realize that I am definitely one to be taken seriously. The employer is in my town, but the corporation is in MI. Suggestions and sympathy are appreciated! By the way, I know the one about the person who has a fool for a client. thanks-a determined and mad nurse

You are about to get a lesson in life. Read a book about the state civil procedure law, be nice to the court clerks, ask friends who are lawyers or hire one to advise you and keep you from doing the wrong things.
