No shouldn't i have been notified abiut custody since I am the father paying support and is it ok to leave with said child out of state with a temporary emergency order? Why was I not contacted?

Those are questions, honestly, to ask a lawyer. You really don't provide much info that would help anyone here answer them. What sort of contact did you have w/mother & child prior to this occurring? Were you living out of state? Did Mom have your address? I can think of several emergency situations where the child would need care and Mom would be unable to provide your information. Where have you been sending support to, or is it garnished?

What sort of outcome are you looking for?
