Been search for the answer to this online but came up empty.
Perhaps somebody here can answer.

In a Separation Agreement, can one party get legal advice and the other doesn't. I am not sure if it would be valid. My husband does not want to get any advice and I do.

There's generally no law that requires representation. However, the agreement could be easily overturned should the unrepresented party decide that it is unfairly skewed against their interests.

p.s. of course, it's possible that your particular state - which you didn't tell us - has some quirks in that regard.

Your post implies that you have a lawyer. Ask your lawyer what the consequences could be.

Who wrote the separation agreement?

It would be foolish not to have it reviewed by an attorney. The cost is minimal.
