Hi All,
A friend of mine was driving home one night and stopped at traffic lights, he was in the left lane, someone in middle and someone in right lane. Cops came up behind him seemingly going to an emergency and signalled for him to move out of the way, as there was no where for him to go except to move forward into oncoming traffic and risk causing an accident he stayed put. Somehow the cops got by but about 3 minutes later the same cops (who was going to an Emergency) pulled him over and he was done for DUI and had his License suspended but got a temperary one for 42 days, that was out March 5th and obviously he has not been driving since. This is a 50 year old who has never been stopped before in his life, no speeding tickets, no parking tickets, drives at the proper speed limit basically does everything proper except for this one night.
His case has been in Court and is back June 7th, his Laywer claims that he may get off because of different things that did'nt occur that should have, anyway my question is he was told that he can apply for a Hardship License does anyone know when can he apply for it as he really needs to get to and from work and if he can apply for one how long does it take to come through?.
Thank in advance for any help
