Invasion of Privacy and Harassment Part 1 of 3- site would not let me post it all at once

01. Below are only highlights. There is much more. Like the manager telling me I’m, “filthy.”

02. I have never been afraid of anything. This whole thing has me shaken up at over 60 years old. I thought I had already seen it all.

03. I’ve spent years gathering evidence, yet when I tried to tell lawyers, they decide I’m crazy and tell me to go somewhere else. I’ve pretty much been hung up on and ignored. And I admit, it SOUNDS crazy. And so do the results of gaslighting.

03a.This will be hard to believe, but the perpetrators had police friends in the room below me. Twice I called the police and they didn’t show up the first time, and the second time they just wanted me to answer one question. Perfect examples of gaslighting were evident to me in their statements to me. They didn’t even let me make my complaint to them- he asked why I was here and after I started to answer, he said, “I don’t care, why don’t you leave?” They had an opinion before they even got here, and at least one of the ones I’d see breaking the rules -the one whom the manager said she had just talked to (below)- took part in some of the harassments I’m about to explain and that is one reason why two cops who showed up wouldn’t knock on the door above mine, it would’ve exposed him and a housekeeper.…

Here’s what I’m talking about:

04. I’ve been living at a hotel where the staff constantly treats me badly in many ways including holding back toilet maintenance and housekeeping and generally not doing anything required except taking my monthly payments. In return they create discontent and seem to genuinely hate me. I read their faces, eyes and speech. They have even brought friends to stomp on the floor above me, mostly employees, and to slam doors throughout the night, without concern for other “guests.” Fake stomps are usually easy to detect. One time, they actually kept it up FOR A WEEK! I couldn’t see straight! I still don’t know how they made certain sounds. The sheer power in slamming the same door several times at once is easy to detect too, usually just below my door and in the room next me. (The door rubbed whenever opened or closed. I asked maintenance if he would fix it, he said it can’t be fixed, and then it became obvious that they used my complaint to rob me further of comfort and peace.) They literally had me surrounded using four vacant rooms all adjacent to mine. The fifth room must have been better insulated.

05. At first I complained to the manager about the noise from the room next to me (a policeman friend of hers), and it seemed as if I was ignored each time. Months later I complained again, and she said THE EXACT SAME THING SHE SAID BEFORE- “He isn’t even home; I just talked to him." More gaslighting. Another time she said, “No one is in that room,” and continued to pretend that was true. She even said, “You shouldn’t have to put up with that, I will take care of it.” He’s the one I caught with a housekeeper stomping on the floor above when I staked it out for hours sitting in my car to see the “guests” leave the room- the time the two cops wouldn’t knock on the door to catch them. I complained on the hotel’s internet complaint portal and they ignored four complaints plus 20 I sent to other hotels in the chain, explaining some of the things they’ve done. Things just got worse.

06. Another thing they’ve done repeatedly is send housekeeping to my room to ask if I want service. They choose to do this at times to surprise me and never on the chosen day when I’m usually not here. There’s supposed to be a day, picked by me, where they are to come on that day every other week. They ignore that. Oh, and sometimes I’d ask them to come back in half an hour and that’s the end of that. One time one started and was gone when I came back, I had to search the balconies to find her in another room and gave her $5 to come back and finish making the bed. One of the asst. managers allowed me to directly report times when it would be convenient to me- she wrote it down, then acted concerned when I told her no one showed up. Did that twice, then two more times A YEAR LATER! And I didn’t realize it was her until months after that; I used to be so unassuming. Then, on her last night of employment, she pulled the fire alarm and yelled my name at my door to “get out.” Never saw her again. The alarm was probably just on site because no fire trucks showed up, but a few people went outside and wondered what was happening. Seems I was the only one told to get out by name. I didn’t realize it was a harassment until months later. Most examples took a long time to figure out. There’s another one concerning the horn in a vehicle, and many alarms and honks at all hours, but only when certain managers were in charge.

07. I’ve kept logs of almost everything they’ve done and not done. There were so many incidents that to organize them, I created a website and started to write posts about many of their shenanigans. A year ago, the first 75 posts came out fast and easy. They actually started stomping again last Halloween night and that prompted me to start posting. I’m actually posting this one year after that night of stomping. Not to be commemorative- it’s just happening this way.

08. Occasionally they have fake “inspections,” where they would come to the room and say it was mandatory, and then ask me some questions and tell me it will be fixed this week. At one, inspection, I told her not to come on a Sunday. A few months later, they came on a Sunday and this woman made it all too obvious that it was fake. They’ve stated that they don’t do things like that on Sundays. Her chaperone didn’t even know what to do. He started to close the door from the outside. She actually gave him instructions right in front of me.

09. One time there was a possible legitimate “electrical” inspection. A new manager whom I never met, pounded the heck out of my door. She wouldn’t even look at me, just like when I’d pass her on the sidewalk. She uses wide eyes looking past me. No different when I opened the door this time. Two people came in, looked in a cabinet, and then left. I was testing my site and after all the times they knocked on my door before, I didn’t think to hide my work. I had no reason to. So, they had a seemingly legit inspection…

10. The next day, a brand new person came for a “housekeeping and maintenance” inspection. Strange, because she seemed to be wearing her Sunday best and had no chaperone. She walked over to look at the bathroom and promised to change the mildewed curtain. She looked at the AC filters and said she will clean them. I told her that I’m the only one who has ever cleaned them (in years). She used my desk, where my monitor sat, to write something on her pad, and said she’d come back, and left. She came back few minutes later and said she has been sent home, but would do these things in the coming week. And that was the last time I saw her. That was the first time anyone ever came back with any info. Don’t know why she did that.

11. But I did figure out why she came in the first place: The two “electrical” inspectors got a look at my screen. They saw the name of the site. I believe they told the manager, and then the manager sent someone familiar with PCs and the internet to see if she could gather info from my screen and find the URL and destroy my privacy even further. AND IT WORKED!

12. In the next few days, things I wrote about, that hadn’t happened in years, all of sudden started happening again. And by a number of people, not just the current couple planted in the door‑slamming and amplified-TV noise room next to me. Of course, even I thought I was crazy.

13. I went several months without visiting my own site. When I did go back, there had been 800 visits to a site that is not on Google and doesn’t have any usable SEO. This was a huge shock. How could so many people find my site? Then I figured it out- the young housekeeper in her Sunday best was no housekeeper. Her fake inspection was solely to see if she could see what was on my screen, and she got lucky. But I can’t prove any of this. As circumstantial evidence, it’s overwhelming.

14. After the first times I had contacted lawyers, I became shy about contacting them again. Now I believe I have evidence, not perfect, of over a thousand visits to my site whose visitors should have been only me and some friends. And I’m still SHY. Never been shy before. Never before had anxiety like this. But I don’t know how to prove that most of the visitors were from the hotel and their friends.
