What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
California

I went to court and was given involuntary probation for 1 year for a misdemeanor offense. When i went to court the judge told me that my record could be expunged. how would i go about getting it expunged? is it removed automatically or is there something i need to do in order to get it taken care of?

thanks
