Are the contents of a living trust protected from collections? If a judgment is obtained against me for a credit card debt and I have an asset (mineral deed on non-producing oil/gas well) in a living trust (in my name as trustee and beneficiary), can the collect agent put a lien on the asset in the trust or otherwise garnish the trust?
