If the company you are dealing with is a big company with financial issues, the company name will not surprise anyone. The company is probably already known to me and others. The media has probably covered this big company's financial issues and, if there are 150 million consumers using this company's services, consumers no doubt will have complained widely about the company on various ratings/review sites.... I would prefer not to mention the company name, it's a big company and they are currently having other financial issues. I'm also curious on your reasoning on why you think it's okay for them to do that? Are you putting yourself in the companies shoes or the customer? ... Why is a flaw in their system responsibility of the consumer?
But no one can help you with any issue you are having with this particular company if you do not identify the particular company.
I am still not seeing the "flaw" in the system that you are seeing. You are being charged for the devices you purchased from this company because you apparently have not paid for these devices in full. You are being charged for the monthly service from this company under the terms of a contract you signed with the company. You should know already what you owe each month for the service and you should know already what you owe for the devices. What you need to do now is pay everything you owe in full.
If the problem extends beyond this and I am just not seeing it for some reason, I would be happy to provide you with resources but I cannot do this easily if you are reluctant to divulge the name of the company. I suggest you see a consumer rights attorney in your area for a review of the billing system that you think is so unfair.
