And the worst part? 9 times out of 10, their hair and makeup are all done to Jersey Shore perfection!
PLEASE! "Jersey Shore" does not define the Jersey Shore or all of Jersey. Maybe their make-up is done to Housewives of NYC perfection? Gah.

OP

I have been there with my 15 yr old son. I took everything away from him. He had 1 outfit to wear to school, he had no bed, no door on his room and would eat when a meal was made. He did go to his counselor and we did have a meeting. Now that the school is aware of the situation, they check on him daily and make sure things are getting better. He is also in therapy to help deal with the stresses that caused him to act out. If you need someone to talk to, use the resources at the school. Don't get your friends into trouble. And if you just can't make it to class because of your emotional stress, go to the counselor, at least then you won't get hit for ditching again.

It will get better but YOU have to make the first move and get over the material things that aren't that important.

And in addition, do that 4 hours of community service that sounds like a bone of contention for some adults in your life. Whats up with that?

Apology accepted. We're a wee bit tetchy here abouts when it comes to the Guidos! Who are not even from Jersey!
