I found the setting under preferences. There is a check box to see signatures of others. It must now be set not to show that by default as I don't recall ever deciding to turn off that preference.

I've had mine set to not show signatures for years because some active posters had annoyingly long signatures. It sometimes felt like I was scrolling through more signature lines than actual content. Maybe I should change it back...

I have the preference set to “see signatures in posts” but I haven’t been able to see them since the forum updates - on either iPhone or computer. When someone mentions their signature, I have to go to their profile page.
