i need to reread that quote...

but is it sayin since i am in the mlitary, then its possible for me to get the jurisdiction here?
i'm sorry, i'm just unclear on the quote...but my son is 2 and he was born BEFORE we married, she used her "benefits" through the county to have him...i've thought back and i didnt sign his BC or an affidavit of paternity...so i assume i need to have him and i tested?! wow, unsure how i feel about that...thanks for the quote, i'll keep up with that

That makes a big difference, this is not the child of your marriage, and with no AOP signed you don't owe child support unti it is ordered and you will of course ask for a DNA test, so in that case you will want to do that through FL if that is where the child was born and military residence doesn't make as much a difference unless DNA test proves the child to be yours. Save the child support and use that on an attorney. Since she used state benefits for maturnity costs the state will try to recoup their costs from the bio dad whom ever that may be. The fact that she didn't try to get you to sign an AOP or she didn't tell the state that you were the father strongly suggests that while she may have lead you to believe you were the father, she did not, or was already runing some sort of scam. If there is any way you can see the child, have a private DNA test ready and a quick swab of both your checks will let you know what course to take.
