I am a member the steelworkers union we are getting ready to change to the new dues structure of the USWA. According to the info we have been given they are allowed to add in any money i contrbute to my 401k program. The way I see it the federal goverment can't touch my 401k how can they. This money is taken out before taxes and my union dues are taken out after taxes.
