What is the name of your state? NV

I have a judgment lien and the creditor has garnished my wages. Can this be discharged in bankruptcy? If so, how is this done? How long after I file bankruptcy will the garnishments stop?

Most likely.

See a bankruptcy attorney immediately.

An automatic stay is put in place the day your bankruptcy is filed with the court. Deliver a copy of the stay to your employer's payroll office that day and the garnishment will stop that day.
