It's impossible to answer your question unless someone on this forum works for the company that she is going to apply for employment with. Most background checks are contracted out to third parties and it's likely that they will have access to these reports.

The only way to keep things like this off of a driving record is to drive more carefully so it doesn't happen in the first place.
You're correct. However, the accident will be on her driving record regardless of whether or not a ticket is also listed on the record.

Or can prospective employers see the CLUE reports? Can anyone get them?

Click "sample auto report" link down on the bottom left. Plus, daughter can always order her auto CLUE report and see what's on there before applying for a new job.

And while no report is perfect, but I love CLUE reports - I find them to be much more comprehensive than, say Carfax reports are. Very useful at depositions :D

This is all probably academic anyway, because I would assume that the employer is going to ask her point-blank if she has been in an accident, and at that point she will have to tell the truth and explain the accident as best she can in the least damaging way possible.

If she lies and says her record is clean, they hire her, and later discover its not clean, they could probably fire her on the spot.
