Please enlighten us here. How is the neighbor responsible? That is the question after all. I'll wait for you to pull your answer out of your cereal box.

Not eating cereal this morning, but how about this Shay: How many times have the parents been held responsible for their minor childrens vandalism on this board so far?

Hmm... do you want to do a search? I am a little busy today.

Stop being a such a follower and Farbissen (look it up  ) and actually try helping these people.

My lord, you really are pathetic sometimes.

I'm not surprised you couldn't come up with an answer.

Where were Evil Kenevil's parents? Who was supervising him?

If some other kid damaged YOUR PROPERTY I bet you'd be singing another tune.;)

IMO: I'd take E.K.'s parents to small claims court, after I recovered damages from your insurance.

What is the name of your state? Az

The kid across the street from me was at our house two days ago. In his infinite wisdom he decided to try getting under the garage door, on my daughters bike when the door was only partially open. Needless to say he did not make it but the impact from him hitting it left the garage door badly damaged. He was not hurt. Do the neighbors have a legal obligation to pay for damages?

So you daughter had a guest over to the house when you were not home....said guest was on your daughters bike...guest then behaved like a dumbass....Soooo you are pissed...

Here's what you do ...submit the claim to your homeowners and if they think that the other childs parents are libel...they will go after them...that way you won't have a war with the neighbors...and it won't affect the insurance rates....;)

The other child was an invited guest to the home (by the daughter)....it won't wash in small claims...

OP wasn't supervising her daughter, and said daughter was playing with the garage door. Now who is at fault? She is lucky the other idiot kid was not hurt.

You keep singing the same tune, but it keeps coming out flat. TWO other people stated pretty much the same thing I did but you are not jumping all over them.

Go and find Kelly, I am sure she is out there somewhere and just stop ranting here.

My goodness my ears hurt.

No you see I was at work. My daughter had instructions not to let any boys in the house. The neighbor knew I was at work as they see me leave every day! My daughter was not supposed to have any boys over and the neighbors child knew it. The neighbors son was not hurt however the garage door was! No one closed the door on him! The door was only partially opened when he decided to try and be evil kinevil,
Where did the OP say he was an "Invited guest"?

They are not bothersome trolls like you are. If your ears hurt from looking at your screen, you may want to call your doctor.

My child will be pulling weeds and scrubbing floors with a toothbrush over the rest of her spring break.
Legal:
Why would OP be punishing her daughter if the kid was NOT invited??

If the kid tresspassed on the property and did damage ...OP would have called the police and reported it...The kid was invited there by the daughter...;)

Legal, I am sending you an important PM. Please respond to it.

Oh is this like when the "cool kids" go behind the bleachers and gossip about the "strange one" who won't conform.

I say it again Shay, you are sometimes (sometimes?) so pathetic and transparent.

I had better go crying home to my mother now because " Nobody likes me!"

God you are insane. What makes you think it is about you? Guess what? It has nothing to do with you or this thread.

Talk about Pathetic.
